and so have few other folks!  Issue is not about getting free hosting,
but rather if still keep using resources from multiple sources (eg for
indlinux.org - DNS, mail, downloads, SVN, www - each is served by a
different server! which somehow i think has been a blessing in
disguise - since all of them may not go down!).

NRC-FOSS supported server was primarily for  code.indlinux.net - it
was started with a specific goal in mind, it had a slow start, but
just when it started to pick up, the sword was hanging.

Personally I feel the idea of dedicated server for Indic work
materialized a little too late, when some interest was already lost in
futile efforts of persuing similar efforts with another govt
organization.

& any comments on the project or its activities  please use the
indlinux-group list for it, debates to make things better a very much
welcome there (unmoderated).
