If it is GPL version 2, and if you are not distributing the script to
anyone, then the licence doesn't apply to you. 

If the code
is something like javascript which can be downloadable by anyone over
the web(and therefore might be claimed to fall under redistribution), 
then make sure that you should not remove any copyright 
notices from the code. This is not necessary if it is something like PHP
scripts where only the output of the script can be downloaded by others.

I am not sure about the payment side, as AFAIK it is theoretically possible to
provide a GPL software on payment(only by the original producer, and
only if the code is entirely theirs).
