Not exactly to the same thing but in line with the above news. Few months ago my ISP, Hathway, did send a notice to everyone to provide details about their wireless routers, if they are using one. According to the notice, they were doing it on the basis of a TRAI directive. I refused to divulge the details of my wireless router till they sent me a copy of the TRAI directive stating the same. They couldn't provide me with the same and disconnected my connection for a while, till I called up their customer care and asked to refund my money for the month as they had disconnected my connection.
