Well, to me, these were minor annoyances that I was willing to put up with,
especially as I imagine that they will be solved with future kernel releases.
At that price point, the laptop is a steal: Comparable models from other
manufacturers (e.g., Dell, Lenovo, etc.) were over 70K, though I am not sure
how build quality compares. Your mileage might vary.

Yes, Dell in general does have better Linux support, and their build quality for
the business laptops is good (the Alien series is also worth looking
at). However,
do not buy online from them, as their service is terrible, even though the site
is nice. I had actually ordered a Dell online, but cancelled after what was
supposed to be a 2-week delivery turned into over a month with no definite
delivery date in sight, and no communication from Dell's side.
