Hi Shaji,
thx for replying mate, but i think fetchmail retrieves the mail to local
box, which i am strictly against, as who wud want half the mails at home and
half at work. So i just want to check the mails on the server itself, or my
b download the mails but let a copy remain on the server during nite or over
the weekend when i am not at office. Pine does the job alrite for me, but
the problem is that it doesn;t check the server every 150 seconds as the
default build is supposed to, it only checks them when i launch it. :(
if u have seen outlook express or MSoutlook in internet mail mode, u'd know
there is a setting using which u can let the mails remain on the server and
another piece of setting using which u can specify the time it shud
automatically check for mails. I want something like that !!!
Ne pointers ne one .. how do u guys check ur mails on a pop3 server then
!!!! r elm or Mutt ne gud, i am going to try them out neways .. and one more
challenge, i am on a console only :) no gui stuff !!!!

Virdi,

configure fetchmail. run fetchmailconf to configure the thing from
Xwindows.
the script might be broken especially on 7.3RH, but a first time should
give you a working setup.
