The quickest and coolest solution for me when it came to printing
webpages was James Walker's PrintToPDF. The latest versions will
address all the issues you have, letting you literally print the
contents of a webpage to a pdf file. Prior to allowing it to 'print',
you can resize the pages, choose background/no background, even pick
which page you want to print. It's shareware so check it out for a
month and decide if you want to pay for it. Truly the best twenty
bucks I ever spent. James Walker does updates, keeps folks informed
and listens to feedback. While other programmers have left the 68k
crowd far behind, he continues to make certain that even those of us
with dinosaurs can use the latest updates.
I've stopped saving webpages as text or even html. Paired with
screenshots, PrintToPDF is a powerhouse for printing.
Any search engine will find you the downloading pages. doesn't hurt
to give it a try.
