I'm trying to get my battery monitor icon placed in the control strip, but
can't manage to do so.

Part of the problem may be that there's so much stuff in the CS already.
It stretches completely across the bottom of the screen. There's no
room for another icon.

I can't figure out how to remove some of the icons that are currently in
the CS, or what actions I can take to put icons I want (like Battery
Monitor) into the CS.

When I double-clicked the Battery Monitor icon, as message said that
to activate it I should place the "file" in the Control Strip modules
folder. But it was already there!! It also said it could be dropped on a
closed Systems Folder icon. I don't have a closed systems folder icon.
Should I create a new file folder, label it "closed systems folder" and
then place the battery monitor icon in it? Somehow I don't think that
will do the trick.

Any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this matter would
certainly be appreciated. TIA. Larry
