I use AOL Instant Messenger not only for the messaging, but for the news and stock tickers. I keep the floating tickers running at times and heretofore, when I have wanted info on a stock passing through the ticker if I double clicked the symbol it would open a window in Internet Explorer and give me the basic quote info. For some reason it has started opening a different widow, a Netscrape one that is really really junky (adds, banners, pop ups). I do not know of having done anything to change the set up and I don't quite know where to look to see what's going on. (please reserve the anti-MS, anti AOL rhetoric for your support group meeting).
