I have been searching for information about the Apple warranty. If I live in Aruba, and buy a new mac from Canada and buy all the warranties available and the computer breaks down here, will the local Apple dealer have to service it.
The prices here are beyond reason, like my US$25 battery. I can buy a new mac in Canada and have it shipped here, pay the duties and still it is far cheaper than buying it in Aruba. If it breaks down under warranty, will the authorized Apple dealer in Aruba have to honour the warranty, even if I didn't buy it from him? I tried finding the answer on the Apple site, but couldn't get anything. Has anyone done this before? Brian Jones Aruba -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
