I have a new middle flat panel iMac, and I also had purchased Toast Titanium, so when I found that I could not use my burner, I set about to figure out why. When I bought the new iMac, first thing I did, was make three partitions, and I installed the iMac software on the first 15 gig partition. All of it, so that I had both OS X - 10.1.5 plus 9.2.2 on that partition. Found I could burn with the built in burner, but when I connected my QueFire I was outta luck. It was not recognized in 10.+ so I then installed 9.2.2 on one of the other partitions, re-installed Toast Titanium, re-installed Que software, and Voila!! back in business. The ability to be able to run older periferals is a big plus, when you partition your hard drive. I also had no problem whatsoever installing Netscape 4.77 on that same partition and as it is 128 encryption, am able to do all my banking and investing there as well. And to think that I was advised by some one else, not to partition the hard drive in this new flat panel.....experience is always the best teacher, and if good experience, should be listened to. Try doing that with your new flat panel, Andre. Cheers, Doug in BC
