Greg,

Maybe the new RAM modules are faulty. I have a rev. B and last year 
installed 384MB (256+128).

On the first try, I had similar problems to yours. Put old RAM 
(32+32) back in and everything was fine.

Got new RAM exchange from vendor, and it worked immediately.
