You are talking about installing in a virtual machine!!! XP on my home pc takes about 
40
minutes. With virtual pc on my pc (yes, it works; even the virtual hd's are compatible
with the mac version) it takes almost 2,5 hours. Comparing the install of a emulated
system with a native system is of course not going to work especially when a different 
cpu
is used!!
