The flat screen CRT on the eMac is very easy on the eyes.

Then you'll love OS X. A little learning curve, but the benefits of being able
to do multiple tasks at once will make you a fan quickly.

Yup. Just as well as the plastic outer layer on a CRT.

More memory is always good. It mostly boils down to cost and placement. The eMac
will cost less than the flat panel iMac. The iMac weighs a lot less and takes a
much smaller footprint.

If you're on a Strawberry now, you'll be very pleased with either. You can buy
the eMac with 3 years of Apple Care for less than the price of the iMac. That
would be a consideration if cost is an issue. Nothing quite as comforting as
being able to say "Hey Apple" if it breaks. <G>
