The default (blue throbbing button) choice is to say "yes", which is what you probably inadvertently hit, or simply returned, thus making IE your default. If you use IE again and you see this dialogue, look for a tiny checkbox in the lower left corner telling it to "not ask you again" and remember to click the "no" button (saying no to making it your default browser.)
