They're very similar, but I would strongly recommend the iMac. The flat screen gives you AMAZING picture quality that a CRT could never touch. Besides which, the eMac is FANTASTICALLY heavy. It's 80 flipping pounds! The flat panel iMac, OTOH, is only 21. ;) John A.
