I am so happy  that Apple allowed the eMac to be sold to the 
consumer...It IS quite a steal:G4, Optional Superdrive, Larger display 
than its G3 iMac  All-In-One predecessor, and  consumer/student pricing. 
I remember reading in the PC press how the gumdrop G3 iMac was Apple's 
"weakest link." Point anyone to the eMac  and critics shut up. ...It 
would be interesting to see the sales figures Apple has on the eMac 
compared to the new iMac.  The iMac is INCREDIBLE (IMOHO) in terms of 
form, function, display and wow factor. I think there's so much written 
about the iMac, I really don't think I can add much to that. Apple 
really has its bases covered with both models.

eMac or iMac, you can't go wrong with  either one..=D
