You should NOT ignore the messages that say "Messages sent to you have
bounced". Each time you get one of those messages, a "point" is added to
your email address on the list server. When you accumulate enough bounce
points, you will be automatically unsubscribed from the list. What you
should do when you get a message about bounced list emails, is follow the
directions in the warning email to reset the bounce counter, unless you want
to be unsubscribed.

Also, you might want to look into receiving the list emails with a different
email provider. I personally found that switching from a free email service
to my ISPs mail service caused the bounce warning emails to disappear
entirely. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

The messages that you SHOULD ignore are the subscription confirmation
emails, that you will probably get every time you post to this list. Of
course you should not ignore the original subscription confirmation email,
the one that confirms your subscription to the list.

As far as getting two copies of every message, I'd check the details of the
message headers, and see if you aren't perhaps subscribed with two different
addresses.
