On a graphite iBook, you simply don't have that option. The screen can 
only do a maximum of 800x600 (it can also do 640x480 via interpolation, 
but that's hideous).

Exactly. Your iMac's screen is probably set for 1024x768. As for the 
"fuzziness" you're seeing, that's probably an effect of anti-aliasing 
being turned on. You can adjust or remove that if you like.
