From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]I think the MacWorld article was cautioning owners of the FANLESS iMac drives that there could be a potential heat issue. Owners of the Rev. A and B iMacs with functioning fans can probably disregard the warning, since their fans will simply kick on more often if they install a hotter drive. Today's drives probably don't add much heat (compared to the factory installed drives of yesteryear) anyway.

What brand/s is/are recommended?
Stuart, I have a Rev.A iMac that I put a 40gb Western Digital 7200 in about a year ago (at the time, the drives were too pricey for me to go larger). I too have been thinking of going with a 120gb, and don't think I have a problem with heat - at least not on my 40gb anyway
