hello all here is more food for thought on the running debate. http://sciencequest.org/support/computers/mac/repair.html go to the sub page on troubleshooting. they too dislike norton but they give a good discussion on the whole picture. the discussion on norton might originate from a older version of norton that caused grief to the users.
