I can't answer that, I inherited this iMac and immediately went through the
extensions and control panels turning off and trashing stuff that I know (or
think I know...)I would never need.  I will say that my computer doesn't go
to sleep that often,  I usually turn it off when I'm through, but this
weekend in particular, I've been multi-tasking and they've all been on. This
iMac has gone to sleep a few times today and wakes up just fine, using
Sleeper. This may be a silly question, but have you checked to see what the
settings your control panel has to wake up?  I don't remember what they all
were, but with sleeper there is one-- don't wake up for mouse movement, and I
don't know how you would wake it up if that was checked, but there are also
hot keys...
