If your computer is turned off, ie, no power, shut down, NOT just 
asleep... then it is currenty 100% totally and utterly impossible for 
ANYONE, INCLUDING YOURSELF, to do anything to the computer from remote.

Think about it... if the machine needs power to do anything, and there is 
NO POWER to it, then it logically can't do a thing, regardless of how 
great a hacker may be... they can't do squat with it if the computer is 
turned off. 

The internet connection can be always on, and it doesn't matter, the 
computer... the target of the attack, is OFF and 100% non funtional in 
that state, and so 100% non hackable.
