Thanks Ben. I tried again and all is now well. I installed Jaguar from the installation disks and then did the various upgrades. I must have done something wrong when cloning the first partition system with CarbonCopyCloner. Starting from scratch has solved the problem, and now I can run DiskWarrior from either partition to sort out any problem without the need to start from the CD.
