Hi: I have an IMac 333 running OS 8.6 and a Beige G3 running OS 9.2. The Western Digital 80 MB HD i just purchased from Office Max for $49.99 Net after rebates indicates on the outside of the box that it requires OS 10 for Mac's. I presume this has something to do with the formatting disc enclosed in the package.
Before opening the package I'd like to confirm that other Mac formating tools should be able to format this HD to use with OS 8.6 or 9.2. Many thanks for any help.
