Look for "Pro Tools� Free" from Digidesign. It's free, as the name says. I've used it a bit on my iMac G3 350 w/ OS 9.2.2 and it seems pretty awesome. You can have up to 8 tracks, I believe, and do some pretty sophisticated stuff.
