Hey Matt, Thanks for the advice, I think I might just look for a spare PAV board (I was really really hoping the issue was with the PRAM battery, though in the back of the my mind doubted it) just because I wont have the time to replace the transformer until winter break. Anyone know where I can find an inexpensive PAV board from and iMac DV 400? I'd really like to resurrect my machine so I can my research reports and such on it.
