Interesting to see where this question has gone. You're all correct, the OSX IE 5.2.3 has no ActiveX on it. A friend of mine, who works in Toronto with Microsoft in a support position did note that often those in the Mac world usually have no need for ActiveX, Told him of the circumstance, and the commentary I received from Google. He suggested change browsers, Internet Explorer works fine if you're on the Microsoft wavelength, beyond that there can be problems were his words. He did note "Firefox does have its act together..." and this from an MS person! Try as I might he won't switch to a Macintosh for his own computing. Well, maybe one day, eh?
