I have just bought an 800MHz eMac, the CD only model,
for my kids to have as their games machine.
However, 99% of all their games are OS 8/9 and I didn't
get any OS CDs with the machine (where does everyone's
system CDs go ?!?).
I have tried all of my OS 9.2.2 backup CDs I have kept,
(the eMac 800MHz CD can boot OS 9.2.2 according to LEM),
and it boots fine of a couple but the system won't install as
it is not suitable for this model.
Any tips ?!?
I also have a full set of (Jaguar) disks from a previous eMac
but when I try to do a restore, it won't do it properly... :o(
Running these games through Classic isn't very good, better
booting into OS 9 properly.
