I'm looking at getting my first iPod and I like the new 60GB color one. My
only problem is my G3/400 DV Firewire iMac has this software:-

OSX 10.1.5
iTunes 4.7.1
QuickTime 6.3.1
iPhoto 2.0

Can any owners of this particular iPod confirm if it will work with my
software setup? (Apple's site seems to indicate a minimum of OSX 10.2.8 for
the iPod Photo software 1.1 for this iPod - please confirm). Can I install
OLDER iPod software onto the newest iPod to make it compatible with my
setup, or does anyone have a newer OSX disc they could maybe sell me?

On a sidenote, is anyone getting good results with an FM transmitter thing
to play the iPod through the car radio? Kensington are saying that theirs is
the best - are there any satisfied users out there?

Apologies if I'm asking the impossible, it's just that I'm a newbie to the
iPod experience - all I know is that it looks look really cool and I'd like
to be able to get one to work with my current setup without too much hassle
or software expense. Thanks!

Kev (UK)
