Many thanks. That works. I hooked my G3 ibook to my new G4 iBook with
Firewire and upgraded the G3.

Ralph,
You probably can't do that, but you can install Panther, and probably
Tiger, by connecting your iBook to the other machine, with the iBook
in Firewire Target Disk Mode.
