Santa brought a lacie external firewire harddrive. I had previously
downloaded backup 3.0 from .Mac. When I create a backup plan
everything seems to work until the end when I get an error message
"The backup archive is use and can't be ejected. Try quitting
applications and try again." Underneath are "Force Eject", "Stop
Entire Backup" and "Try Again". I have tried all suggestions and
nothing works. I have quit applications, rebooted and checked the
Lacie online manual and cant figure out the issue. I have drag and
dropped individual docs to the harddrive and that works ok. The
manual seems to say I need to format the drive but I don't believe
it, in part because when I launch Disk Utility the list of formats
does not include mac os x list the manual says it should. I have
repaired permissions. Ideas?
