Hi

I am looking to upgrade my trusty G4 eMac. It is the 1Ghz model with an 80gb internal and Pioneer 16x DVDRW optical drive, with 768MB RAM.

I have been very happy with it and am very reluctant to part with it as it has been such a faithful work horse. It i beginning to struggle a little and I tend to push it to the max, rip DVDs, compress DVDs, convert MP3, run emails, download and surf all at the same time.

I don't have a lot of space, the main reason I bought the eMac in the first place. So, the G5 iMac is a preferred choice because of its compact size. Does any one have one and is it anywhere near as good as a G5 tower.

I know the new bottom model has 1.9Ghz, 8x SuperDrive, 256MB RAM, 160gb HD and built in airport extreme and bluetooth.

Also considering the spec of my modified eMac what sort of price could I look at for resale value?

Regards
