Other than the power supply and the PRAM battery, I can't think of
anything that would need replacing. The DVD, USB, LCD, CPU, RAM,
fan, and HD all work - what else is there? - and all Apple

They are not that frightening just take your time dont force
anything I managed without instructions and without paste 2 years
ago and its still going strong today. It sounds as if you have
something in there not seated properly so anything that plugs in un
plug and re-seat maybe since you are going inside you could fit a
bigger ram stick inside the case.

Thanks - yeah, I figure I'll put a bigger RAM stick in there. What
type is the internal RAM slot? MacTracker says it's a PC2700 184-pin
SDRAM, but doesn't specify EEC (or is it ECC?) or the other values,
like CL.
Exactly which stick should I buy from, say, Crucial or 18004memory.com?
