Well... Does the visualizer stutter when the file sharing is NOT in 
use?  When turned off?

If it does, then what does Activity Monitor show as the top few CPU 
using processes?

There is SOMETHING in that eMac taking away resources from the 
visualizer.  The point is to look around to find it...
