Hello again: I guess I do not fully understand the issue. I may be getting what you call an echo. In another lowendmac, google groups e-list for G4 Books, http://groups.google.com/group/g4books/t/02493a33c085bca2?hl=en I am in digest mode. I joined the thread from my Apple Mail client using my gmail.com account. I received a download of my message to the list. Is that the echo you want? True, that e-mail does not appear in the online Inbox. But it does appear in the online Gmail Sent and All Mail boxes. However in looking at a message that I sent on March 8 to the g3-5 list, I did not receive a download. Therefore no echo? Both lists are in digest mode, and I handled my inputs the same way in each case. Now, I'll see if I get a download of this message.
