As Jim has replied, the 5 beeps indicates a processor failure. However, it's also possible that the self-test itself failed (iow, false beepage; I've seen that on two diff eMacs). So it might be worth while opening up the eMac, replacing the PRAM battery, cleaning it out a bit, then retrying...
