I hear you. My first "tinkering" Mac was a 450Mhz DP Gigabit. When I
took the unfortunate decision to part it out and sell the pieces, it
had a DL DVD writer, 2 gigs of RAM, a 256Mb GeForce 6200 video card,
and a 32Mb PCI video card. It was rock solid, drove 4 monitors, had 2
gigs of storage, and was running Leopard, Tiger and OS 9 like
nutting's nutting. I miss that sweet machine every single day...
