Hey Group!! Re: The problem: I cannot make the trash empty. I have tried everything under the sun, as far as I know, trying to get the trash to empty. Unlocked any folders/files, re-booted numerous times (both regular and Safe Boot), ran Disk Utilities (fixed permissions), and still no success. I would like to report that the problem is resolved. Just by chance, and lack of any thing else to try, I held down the Option key while deleting the Trash, and VOILA!! The trash has completely emptied and I am a happy camper once more!!
As the trash was emptying (it took a while) I checked for any insights from you all and VOILA!! AgaIn!! Bruce came thru, as always, with the same fix I stumbled upon. Thank you Bruce for your help. It seems as though some ESP or something was in the works today. Great groups here!!
