It seems the emulator (Wine) was able to run the SSC software, but the
software cannot reach the printer.
This is not surprising: emulators have often problems with handling drivers
and/or peripherals. Sometimes they just cannot, if there's some low-level
call or specific hardware expected.

The simplest solution would be finding a friend with a Windows PC, and
connect your printer to it. Then the SSC software should run as designed
without issues.
IMHO, attempting to make it run inside a Mac using emulators will be a much
longer and troublesome endeavor.
