It's pretty easy.

Just Import or DRAG&DROP a photo jpeg to iMovie.
It can be related to your audio file...you know...whatever you'd want peeps to
look at for the duration.
Or, create a file...like a black background and white type with info about the
audio and whatever else you want on it.
If you know how long your audio file is, make the still pic the same length.
You do that in iMovie.

Then drag&drop or IMPORT the audio file.

Then SHARE (in the menu at top) as whatever file you need it to be.

While I am not an iMovie guy I am definitely video guy.

You could look in the help file for extending still. You could feel around on
the menus for "proerties. but try just grabbing the edge of it on the timeline
and dragging it until it fills the timeline.

You could also probably find 100 tutorials online. Or maybe Creative Cow has an
iMovie forum.

It should not be hard at all really.

Hi there: I have a radio clip from around 2000 that I want to post on
YouTube...but I obviously have to make it into a "video" file first. So I found
a still image to use (I've seen plenty of such on YT), but durn if I cannot
figure out how to get iMovie to display the image for the full 12 minutes it
takes to play the audio. I have never used iMovie before and the tutorials I
have come across up to now are not helping at all. Anyone have advice on how I
can proceed? As always, my thanks in advance!
