Hello,
My name is Oliver Koehler, I live in Heidelberg, Germany - after
moving away from Great Britain seven years ago - and am currently
studying English, Politics and Media and Communications Studies
(the main reason why I'm on the list). To finance my studies I also
do freelance work for media and music oriented publications here.
I am currently conducting research for an article dealing with site
promotion in the UK and Ireland, in particular market structure.
Apart from scouring the usual search engines I thought I might try
asking around the lists for any advice, tips and, maybe, first-hand
opinions on the companies operating in GB and who they are. This
would include: AdServers, Media Planning Companies, Search
Engines, Advertising Agencies (creative), Online Marketers, Web
Rings, Marketing Communities (particularly attratcive
communities in general) and Online Marketing Mailing Lists.
The article will first be printed in a German publication entitled Net
Book which appears bi-annually. The feature will then be used as a
foundation for a chapter on Great Britain in an extensive book on
the topic which will be published next year and will be available in
German and English. In order to avoid any clogging up of the list,
