Greetings Time Stampers!

For what it's worth, there are various Time Stamper plugins or plugin-versions.
The one accessible from here
   <https://imagej.net/ij/plugins/stamper.html>
and the one Eric is referring to
   <https://imagej.net/ij/plugins/download/Joel_Time_Stamper.java>
don't provide the overlay-option!

The plugin that is described here
   <https://imagej.net/plugins/time-stamper>
doesn't show the overlay-option in the screen-shot, but there is a new version available from github

<https://github.com/fiji/Time_Stamper/blob/master/src/main/java/Time_Stamper.java>
that has the overlay-functionality.

Regards

Herbie

Hi Eric, Richard,

Are you trying to use this plug-in:
https://imagej.net/ij/plugins/joel_stamper.html

I'm guessing it's this one:
https://github.com/fiji/Time_Stamper/blob/Time_Stamper-2.1.0/src/main/java/Time_Stamper.java

I found this by typing "time stamper" into Fiji's search bar, and clicking
the "Source" button on the result.

I cannot get the correct placement of the time stamp, i.e. 0,0
regardless of the coordinates used. BTW: I did remove a scale
settings and I am running the latest version. Suggestions?

I just tested on the Mitosis sample with a fully up-to-date Fiji, with an
"X Location" of 20 and "Y Location" of 35, and the paints the text offset
from 0, 0. I also tried with the "Overlay" checkbox enabled, and it creates
the overlay offset from 0, 0 also—although there is a bug where the overlay
offset and drawn offsets are not fully aligned, maybe due to treating the
"Y Location" as top vs bottom of the text.

Can you record a macro of the command you are using, and paste it into a
reply here, so that we can reproduce?

Regards,
Curtis
