Dear Colleagues,

I forgot you are not all familiar with the anatomy. The upper jaw is the
upside-down green U and the two green vertical bars at the sides are the
vertical rami of the mandible.

Thank you.

Douglas

Subject: plaintext Thresholding

[EXTERNAL EMAIL]

Dear Colleagues,

I am trying to perform a very simple threshold to a CT slice of the jaws
(attached BothJaws280238.tif). I want to select gray levels 61-109 to segment
the bone (attached Threshold selected.png). My macro code is minimal

File.openSequence("/Users/douglasbenn/AI/Both Jaws/BothJaws28/BJ28_tiff/");
run("Auto Threshold");
run("Convert to Mask", "background=Dark calculate");

Inside of segmenting the bone I create an image of all the foreground tissues
(attached Threshold applied.png).

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you.

Douglas
