Dear Douglas,
do these three macro code-lines
//
setOption("BlackBackground",true);
setThreshold(61,109);
run("Convert to Mask");
//
work as desired?

Dear Colleagues,
I am trying to perform a very simple threshold to a CT slice of the
jaws (attached BothJaws280238.tif). I want to select gray levels
61-109 to segment the bone (attached Threshold selected.png). My macro
code is minimal
File.openSequence("/Users/douglasbenn/AI/Both
Jaws/BothJaws28/BJ28_tiff/");
run("Auto Threshold");
run("Convert to Mask", "background=Dark calculate");
Inside of segmenting the bone I create an image of all the foreground
tissues (attached Threshold applied.png).
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you.
Douglas
