Hey Ron or anybody...
We've been running Imail 5 using NT and an access table for authentication,
as of a little over a week ago, we switched our auth to SQL 7, the first
issue we encountered was a difficulty logging in and extreme
slowdowns/processor usage.
We updated the odbcuser.dll file with a modified version another Imail user
created which alleviated the login problem, but we were still saddled with
slowdowns, principally high processor usage by the iwebmsg.exe file.
Today, we updated from 5 to 6.04 with the hope of alleviating the slowdowns,
unfortunately this seems to have made things worse, a return to the
login/slowdown issues of the prior week, extremely high usage by iwebmsg,
and continual login difficulty, we've tried updating the dll again to no
avail.
We're running Imail on it's own server, but do support a large number
(several K) of users.
Thanks for any feedback!
