First thing I'd look at is your SQL7 table... got it indexed on the
userid and password columns?
We're running SQL7, but have only several hundred, not several thousand
users, so I can't speak as to whether your slowdown is "normal". I'd
recommend asking the big Ipswitch list for the voice of experience. You
are running Mike Nice's odbcuser.dll?
