Also, remember that in SQL you can give read rights down to the table level.
So FP users can view the 'Public' db, edit the 'FP' db, and they can't even
view the 'iMail' db. Just examples, but you get the point. Even though they
have access to all the DSN's that doesn't mean anything if they can't get
into the db.

Well, I need the fp people to get to the dns's in most cases. I haven't
needed sql server yet, so I am using just access databases. Fine for the low
amount of usage I suppose. I haven't played with making a certain user the
only user allowed to access a system dsn - or making a particular user not
allowed to access a system dsn. Perhaps simple file rights apply, and I just
never knew it. I will play around with that for a while.
