Here's a "trick" for those that want SQL7.0 but cannot afford it!!!!!
Using the office proffesional cd load the MSDE (ms development engine)......
Get a copy of SQL 7.0 Trial....
Load SQL 7.0 Trials components HOWEVER DO NOT LOAD THE SQL ENGINE....LOAD
ALL THE ADMIN TOOLS!!!!!!

Thats it SQL 7.0 Compliments of MS......It was probably just an oversight on
their part, but trust me it works :)

Thanks, I think the file rights are doing the trick. Learn something someone
else already knew everyday. I thought I tried that once before, but that's
what I get for not thinking about what I thought.
I can see the advantage of SQL server, but don't have the $$ for the program
and the internet connector at the moment.
