I have not run specifc tests to measure performance differences. But if you plan to 
have more than 300 ACTIVE users. You definately will see a benefit from switching to 
ACCESS or MS-SQL. And in some cases where there a lot of users (more than a thousnad), 
switching to MS-SQL or something of the same strength will become a must.

Using the Imail DB for a lot of users, will not only slow down Imail, but it will also 
slow down the whole OS and its applications because of the size increase in the 
registery.
