Well I must be doing something wrong.
I went into IIS and went to the advanced properties
of the IP address section for the site drewspring.
I added mail.drewspring.com and had the port to 8383.
It still won't redirect automatically to port 8383
for imail. Is there somehting else I should do?
I already have a default page for the main site

DNS doesn't handle ip port numbers, only ip's.
As Mustafa said, IIS URL redirection should be able to do it.
